These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PrepXperts Online Academy platform, courses, live sessions, learning materials, and community channels. They form a legally binding agreement between you and PrepXperts Online Academy.
In short: enrolment is confirmed by a PrepXperts representative once payment is received; access is granted for one specific course diet; course material is licensed to you personally and may not be recorded, shared, or resold; and we prepare you for your examination but cannot guarantee that you will pass it.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not enrol in our courses or use this platform.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- "Academy", "PrepXperts", "we", "us", "our" — PrepXperts Online Academy and its authorised representatives.
- "Platform" — the website at prepxpertsonline.com, the learning management system used to deliver our courses, any associated mobile application, and all related digital services.
- "User", "Student", "you", "your" — any person who registers for, enrols in, accesses, or otherwise interacts with the Platform or our courses.
- "Course" — a structured preparatory programme offered by the Academy for a specified postgraduate or licensing examination.
- "Diet" or "Cohort" — a defined intake of students running a Course over a fixed period, aligned to a particular examination sitting.
- "Course Content" — all educational material made available in connection with a Course, including live and recorded lectures, study notes, question banks, mock examinations, and downloadable resources.
- "Live Session" — a scheduled online class, tutorial, mock, or mentorship session delivered in real time, ordinarily via Zoom.
- "Community Channels" — the WhatsApp, Telegram, or equivalent groups operated by the Academy for enrolled students of a given Diet.
- "Mentor" — a qualified medical practitioner or subject-matter expert engaged by the Academy to deliver teaching, guidance, or assessment.
- "Representative" — a member of Academy staff authorised to handle enquiries, enrolment, and student support.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By browsing the Platform, enrolling in a Course, making a payment to the Academy, or accessing any Course Content, you confirm that:
- you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms;
- you agree to the collection and use of your information as set out in our Privacy Policy;
- you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
- you are accessing the Platform for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial educational use, unless a separate written agreement with the Academy provides otherwise.
Where there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any other policy, notice, or communication published by the Academy, these Terms prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Eligibility
To enrol in a Course you must:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- be a registered medical or dental practitioner, a postgraduate trainee, or a final-year student of a recognised medical programme, or otherwise be genuinely preparing for one of the examinations we support;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence; and
- provide accurate, truthful, and current information at enrolment and keep it up to date.
The Academy may verify eligibility, decline any enrolment, or revoke access where eligibility requirements are not met or have been misrepresented. Enrolment is at the Academy's discretion.
4. Enrolment and Registration
4.1 How enrolment works. Enrolment in a Course is completed directly with a PrepXperts Representative, ordinarily via WhatsApp, email, or our website enquiry form. The Platform does not currently process enrolments automatically.
4.2 When a seat is confirmed. A seat in a Diet is confirmed only when both of the following have occurred: (a) the Academy has received cleared payment of the fee, or of the agreed first instalment; and (b) the Academy has issued you a written confirmation of enrolment. Expressions of interest, provisional bookings, quoted fees, and unconfirmed transfers do not reserve a seat.
4.3 Limited seats. Diets have a limited number of seats. Where a Diet is full, the Academy may offer you a place in the next available Diet or add you to a waiting list.
4.4 Accuracy of details. You are responsible for providing the correct name, email address, and mobile number at enrolment. Access credentials and Community Channel invitations are issued to the details you supply, and the Academy is not responsible for access delays caused by incorrect details.
4.5 Personal enrolment only. Enrolment is personal to you and is not transferable to any other person.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Fees. Course fees are quoted per Diet and are communicated to you by a Representative or published on the Platform. Unless expressly stated, a quoted fee covers a single Course for a single Diet only.
5.2 Payment methods. Payments are accepted by the methods notified to you at the time of enrolment, which may include bank transfer, local payment services, or an online payment link. You warrant that you are the authorised holder of the payment method used.
5.3 Currency, bank charges and taxes. Fees are quoted in Pakistani Rupees, British Pounds, and US Dollars. Where you pay from outside Pakistan, all international transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, currency conversion costs, and applicable local taxes or duties are your responsibility. The Academy must receive the full quoted fee net of such charges.
5.4 Instalments. Where the Academy agrees in writing to an instalment plan, you must pay each instalment by its due date. Failure to pay an instalment on time may result in suspension of access until payment is received.
5.5 Proof of payment. You must provide proof of payment when requested. The Academy reserves the right to withhold or suspend access pending verification of any payment.
5.6 Price changes. Fees may change between Diets. A fee quoted for one Diet does not carry over to any subsequent Diet. Confirmed and fully paid enrolments are not affected by later price changes.
6. Refunds, Deferrals and Cancellations
Our full refund terms are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:
6.1 Five-day refund window. You may cancel your enrolment and receive a full refund of the amount received by the Academy at any time within 5 calendar days of the date of your first payment, without giving a reason. This applies whether or not your Diet has commenced and whether or not you have accessed Course Content. The window runs from the first payment and does not restart on subsequent instalments.
6.2 After the five-day window. Once 5 calendar days have elapsed from your first payment, fees are non-refundable. This reflects the cohort nature of our Courses: a seat is reserved for you, mentor time is scheduled to cohort size, and Course Content is released on a fixed timetable.
6.3 Deferral. Where you are unable to continue a Diet for genuine reasons — including illness, a change in examination sitting, or professional commitments — you may request in writing to defer your enrolment to the next available Diet of the same Course. Deferrals are granted at the Academy's discretion, are available once per enrolment, and may be subject to an administrative fee or a top-up where the fee for the later Diet is higher. A deferral request must be made before 50% of your Diet has elapsed.
6.4 Non-refundable items. The following are not refundable: enrolments obtained free of charge under a scholarship or complimentary arrangement; bank, transfer, and currency conversion charges deducted by third parties before funds reached the Academy; fees paid after the five-day window has closed; and enrolments terminated by the Academy for breach of these Terms, including within the five-day window. Discounted and bundled enrolments are covered by the five-day window and are refunded at the amount actually paid.
6.5 Cancellation by the Academy. If the Academy cancels a Diet before it begins and cannot offer you a place in a comparable Diet, you will receive a full refund of fees paid to the Academy.
6.6 Making a request. Refund and deferral requests must be submitted in writing to info@prepxpertsonline.com with your full name, the Course and Diet concerned, proof of payment, and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed within one (1) working day to the original payment method or original sending account.
7. Your Account and Access Credentials
7.1 Single-user access. Your Platform account is personal to you. Sharing your login credentials, access links, or one-time passwords with any other person is a material breach of these Terms.
7.2 Security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at info@prepxpertsonline.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
7.3 Monitoring. The Academy may monitor account activity, including login patterns, device usage, and content access, to detect credential sharing, unauthorised distribution, and other breaches of these Terms.
7.4 Consequences of sharing. Where the Academy reasonably determines that an account has been shared or distributed, it may suspend or terminate access immediately and without refund.
8. Our Services
PrepXperts Online Academy provides structured preparation for postgraduate and licensing medical examinations, including MRCP, MRCPCH, MRCOG, MRCEM, MRCS, MRCPI, FRCR, FCPS, IMM, JCAT, and AMC. Depending on the Course you enrol in, our services may include:
- live online lectures, tutorials, and revision sessions delivered by Mentors;
- recorded lectures made available through the Platform;
- high-yield study notes and written revision material;
- practice question banks and mock examinations;
- a Course calendar showing scheduled Live Sessions;
- progress tracking within the Platform; and
- moderated Community Channels for enrolled students of your Diet.
Not every service is included in every Course. What is included in your enrolment is what is described to you at the point of enrolment and on the relevant Course page.
The Academy may modify, add to, or discontinue any feature or service. Where a change is material to a Diet already in progress, we will give reasonable notice and will not reduce the substance of what you enrolled for.
9. Course Access, Duration and Content Release
9.1 Access is tied to your Diet. Access to Course Content is granted for the duration of the Diet in which you are enrolled and ends on the access end date notified to you. Access is not perpetual and is not a lifetime subscription.
9.2 Content release. Course Content is released progressively in line with the Course timetable. Not all material is available at the start of a Diet.
9.3 Course isolation. Your access is limited to the Course or Courses in which you are enrolled. You may not access, and must not attempt to access, content belonging to any other Course or Diet.
9.4 Recorded lectures. Where recordings of Live Sessions are provided, they are made available as a supplement to live attendance. Availability windows may vary by Course and by session, and recordings may be withdrawn at the end of your access period.
9.5 Withdrawal of access. The Academy may suspend or withdraw your access at any time in accordance with Section 22.
9.6 Certificates. Where the Academy issues a certificate of participation or completion, it confirms only that you took part in an educational programme. It is not a professional licence, a regulatory qualification, a specialty accreditation, or evidence of examination success, and must not be presented as such.
10. Live Sessions, Recordings and Scheduling
10.1 Timings. All Live Session timings are published in Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) unless stated otherwise. It is your responsibility to convert timings to your local time zone.
10.2 Schedule changes. The Academy may reschedule, merge, or substitute Live Sessions where necessary, including for mentor availability, technical failure, public holidays, or events outside our control. We will give as much notice as is reasonably possible. Rescheduling of individual sessions does not entitle you to a refund.
10.3 Your connection and equipment. You are responsible for your own internet connection, device, and software. Inability to attend a Live Session due to your connection, device, power supply, or local restrictions is not grounds for a refund.
10.4 Consent to recording. Live Sessions are ordinarily recorded for the benefit of enrolled students. By joining a Live Session, and in particular by enabling your camera or microphone or participating in a discussion, you consent to your image, voice, and contributions being recorded and made available to other students enrolled in your Diet. If you do not wish to be recorded, keep your camera and microphone off and use the text chat.
10.5 Recording by students is prohibited. You must not record, screen-capture, stream, or otherwise reproduce any Live Session by any means. This is a material breach of these Terms.
10.6 Conduct in sessions. Mentors and moderators may mute or remove any participant who disrupts a session, behaves unprofessionally, or breaches these Terms.
11. Mentors
11.1 No named-mentor guarantee. Mentors listed on the Platform or mentioned during enrolment are indicative. The Academy may substitute a Mentor of equivalent standing at any time without notice and without any reduction in fee. Enrolment is in a Course, not with a specific individual.
11.2 Independent judgement. Mentors deliver teaching in their capacity as educators. Their guidance is intended to support your examination preparation and does not constitute clinical advice, supervision, a professional reference, or a personalised consultation.
11.3 Direct contact. You must not solicit Mentors for private tuition, employment, referrals, or services outside the Academy, or contact Mentors through personal channels obtained via the Platform or Community Channels.
12. Licence to Use Course Content and Prohibited Use
12.1 Your licence. On confirmation of enrolment, the Academy grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Course Content for your own examination preparation for the duration of your access period. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
12.2 Prohibited use. You must not:
- record, screen-record, screenshot, photograph, transcribe, or otherwise capture any lecture, Live Session, question bank item, note, or other Course Content;
- download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute Course Content except where a resource is expressly provided as a download for your personal use;
- upload, post, or republish Course Content on any website, social media platform, messaging group, cloud drive, file-sharing service, or third-party question bank;
- share your credentials, access links, session links, or materials with any person who is not enrolled in your Diet;
- sell, licence, rent, or otherwise commercialise any Course Content;
- use Course Content to teach, coach, or prepare materials for any other course, institution, or individual;
- remove, alter, or obscure any watermark, copyright notice, or proprietary marking; or
- reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or interfere with the Platform or its underlying systems, or use bots or automated tools to extract content.
12.3 Watermarking and traceability. Course Content may carry visible or invisible identifiers linking it to your account. Where material traceable to your account is found distributed without authorisation, the Academy may terminate your access immediately and without refund, and may pursue all available legal remedies.
12.4 Reporting. If you become aware of PrepXperts material being distributed without authorisation, please report it to info@prepxpertsonline.com.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
All Course Content, together with the Platform's design, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of PrepXperts Online Academy or its Mentors and licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"PrepXperts", "PrepXperts Online Academy", the PrepXperts logo, and "Success Unlocked" are trademarks of the Academy, whether registered or unregistered. Use of these marks without prior written permission is prohibited.
13.1 Content you submit. Where you post questions, comments, notes, or feedback on the Platform or in Community Channels, you retain ownership of that content and grant the Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and display it for the purposes of operating and improving our services. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
13.2 Testimonials and results. Where you provide a testimonial or share your examination result with the Academy, you grant us permission to publish it — with your name, photograph, and country as supplied — on the Platform and in our marketing materials. You may withdraw this permission at any time by writing to info@prepxpertsonline.com, and we will remove the material from channels under our control within a reasonable period.
14. Conduct on the Platform and in Community Channels
You are expected to conduct yourself in accordance with the professional standards of the medical community. You must not:
- share Course Content, credentials, or session links in any group, forum, or channel;
- post material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory on the grounds of race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other protected characteristic;
- engage in political, sectarian, or commercial messaging in Community Channels;
- advertise, promote, or solicit for any competing course, service, product, or employment opportunity;
- collect, publish, or misuse the contact details of other students or Mentors;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your qualifications or affiliation;
- share or seek examination recalls, leaked papers, or any material obtained in breach of an examining body's rules;
- circumvent assessment integrity measures, or assist any other person in doing so; or
- introduce malware or attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
Community Channels are moderated. The Academy may remove any message, remove you from a group, or terminate your enrolment for breach of this section. Serious breaches may be reported to the relevant regulatory or legal authorities.
15. Communications and Notifications
By enrolling, you agree that the Academy may contact you by WhatsApp, SMS, email, telephone, in-app notification, and through Community Channels for purposes including enrolment confirmation, access credentials, timetable and schedule updates, academic reminders, support, and information about our courses, offers, and events.
You may opt out of promotional messages at any time by writing to info@prepxpertsonline.com or using any unsubscribe facility provided. You cannot opt out of essential service messages relating to your enrolment while your access remains active.
16. Academic Integrity and Non-Affiliation with Examining Bodies
This section applies to every Course offered by PrepXperts Online Academy.
16.1 No affiliation or endorsement. PrepXperts Online Academy is an independent private education provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by, partnered with, or otherwise connected to the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, the Royal College of Surgeons, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, the Royal College of Radiologists, the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, the Australian Medical Council, or any other examining or regulatory body. These institutions are the sole and official authorities for their respective examinations.
16.2 Use of examination names. Examination titles and the names of examining bodies are used on the Platform solely to identify the examination for which a Course prepares students. Such use is descriptive and does not imply any association, sponsorship, or approval.
16.3 Original content only. All Course Content is independently authored by our Mentors, drawn from their clinical experience, teaching expertise, published curricula, and publicly available clinical guidelines.
16.4 No exam recalls or past papers. We do not reproduce, distribute, host, solicit, or claim ownership of any actual examination paper, past paper, official question, or examination material belonging to any examining body. We do not use, share, or encourage the use of unauthorised examination recalls in any form. Students must not post, request, or circulate such material in any Community Channel or on the Platform.
16.5 Purpose of practice material. Clinical scenarios, questions, and discussions used in our Courses are original and mentor-developed. They are designed to build understanding and clinical reasoning, not to replicate or predict actual examination content. Any resemblance to real examination material is coincidental and arises only from shared alignment with standard clinical guidelines and accepted medical practice.
16.6 Commitment. The Academy respects the intellectual property rights, confidentiality requirements, and examination regulations of all examining bodies, and is committed to upholding the integrity and fairness of professional medical examinations.
17. No Guarantee of Examination Outcome
17.1 Preparation, not a guarantee. Our Courses are designed to support your preparation. The Academy does not guarantee, promise, or warrant that you will pass any examination, achieve any particular score or rank, or obtain any registration, training post, or professional outcome. Examination results depend on many factors outside our control, including your prior knowledge, clinical experience, individual study effort, examination technique, and the standards applied by the examining body on the day.
17.2 Results shown on the Platform. Student results, rankings, testimonials, and success stories published on the Platform or in our marketing are genuine individual outcomes reported to us by those students. They are illustrative only. They are not typical, not averages, and not a representation of the results you should expect.
17.3 No claim arises from a result. No refund, compensation, free repeat, or other claim arises from an unsuccessful examination attempt, except where the Academy has separately and expressly offered a written guarantee in respect of a specific Course.
18. Disclaimers
18.1 Educational purpose only. All Course Content is provided strictly for educational and examination-preparation purposes. Nothing on the Platform constitutes clinical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified and registered healthcare professional. You must exercise your own professional judgement, and comply with the guidelines and protocols applicable in your own jurisdiction and institution, in all clinical situations.
18.2 "As is" availability. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Course Content will be complete or free from inaccuracy, or that any defect will be corrected within a particular period.
18.3 Currency of content. Medical knowledge, guidelines, and examination curricula change. While we make reasonable efforts to keep Course Content current, you should verify clinical information against the latest authoritative guidance and confirm examination requirements directly with the relevant examining body.
18.4 Third-party services. Our services rely on third-party providers, including video-conferencing platforms, learning management system providers, hosting providers, messaging services, and payment channels. The Academy is not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of any third-party service, and outages or failures of such services are not grounds for a refund.
18.5 External links. The Platform may link to external websites for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content or practices, and you access them at your own risk.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Academy, its directors, officers, employees, Mentors, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with:
- your access to, use of, or inability to use the Platform or any Course;
- any reliance placed on the accuracy or completeness of any Course Content;
- any unauthorised access to or alteration of your account or data;
- the conduct or content of any other student, Mentor, or third party;
- any examination outcome, or any failure to meet an examination or registration requirement; or
- any interruption, rescheduling, suspension, or discontinuation of any service.
In all cases, the Academy's total aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to the Academy in respect of the Course giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Academy, its directors, employees, Mentors, contractors, and affiliates against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform or Course Content in breach of these Terms; (b) any unauthorised distribution of Course Content traceable to your account; (c) any content you submit or transmit; (d) your breach of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (e) any misrepresentation made by you in connection with your enrolment.
21. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By enrolling, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data as described in that policy, including the transfer and storage of data by third-party service providers who may be located outside your country of residence.
22. Suspension and Termination
22.1 By the Academy. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice and without liability, where:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- you record, share, distribute, or resell Course Content;
- you share your account credentials;
- payment fails, is reversed, is disputed, or an instalment remains unpaid;
- you engage in academic dishonesty or circulate examination recalls;
- your conduct harms other students, Mentors, or the reputation of the Academy; or
- we are required to do so by law.
22.2 No refund on termination for breach. Where access is terminated for breach, no refund is payable and the Academy reserves all other rights and remedies.
22.3 By you. You may withdraw at any time by written notice. Refund entitlement, if any, is determined under Section 6.
22.4 Effect of termination. Your licence to access Course Content ends immediately, and you must delete any downloaded material in your possession. Sections concerning intellectual property, prohibited use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct discussion. Where no resolution is reached within 30 days of written notice of the dispute, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
Students accessing the Platform from outside Pakistan do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with the laws of their own jurisdiction.
24. Changes to These Terms
The Academy may amend these Terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we will give at least 14 days' notice by email to your registered address or by prominent notice on the Platform before it takes effect. Non-material changes take effect on publication. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
25. General Provisions
25.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Academy in respect of your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior communications and understandings.
25.2 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
25.3 Waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. Waivers are effective only if made in writing by an authorised representative of the Academy.
25.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. The Academy may assign its rights and obligations to any successor entity.
25.5 Force majeure. The Academy is not liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, civil unrest, internet or power outages, cyberattacks, epidemics, or examination body decisions.
25.6 Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version prevails.
